Newmarket Lib Dem MP visits new food scheme

It may be a little known fact, but around 10% of Newmarket has a new Liberal Democrat MP! 
Charlotte Cane, MP for Ely and East Cambridgeshire, was welcomed by John Gilbert to the Racing Centre ahead of the launch of their Community Pantry Shop which opened on the 13th of January. John’s passionate tour of the building demonstrated the diversity of Newmarket and the incredible support there for those that need it. The general atmosphere and welcoming approach of staff should provide a safe and warm environment for those that need help to receive it. 
Charlotte was pleased to hear that all residents were equally welcome regardless of where in Newmarket they live and will work to encourage East Cambridgeshire to support this venture moving forward.
